The WCE Landmark Campaign
A Legacy of Leadership. A Vision for the Future.

About The Campaign

The WCE Landmark Campaign began in May 2019 with a goal of raising $1.25 million for critically-needed Clubhouse improvements. To date, more than 200 WCE members and community supporters have generously contributed more than $1 million.

With the onset of the global pandemic, the WCE Clubhouse was closed to member and private events for most of 2020. This presented an opportunity to schedule some of the planned renovations. The WCE Board of Directors appropriated campaign revenues to pay down the construction loan that funded the first phase of renovations and to begin much needed updates to the first-floor and staircase.

The campaign continues through December 2022. With more than 80% of our fundraising goal achieved, we have funded substantial completion of the first-floor interior but additional fundraising is needed to restore our historic Grand Ballroom.

Our Landmark Building is Vital to Our Mission

Since its dedication in 1912, our landmark Clubhouse has been a welcoming gathering place for members and our community. Here we host the WCE Holiday Bazaar, the WCE Revue, Spring Benefit, and the Dreams Delivered Prom Boutique. These annual premier events allow us to provide economic resources to meet the needs of our community.

Your Role
