The Woman’s Club of Evanston believes every student in Evanston, regardless of means, should be able to attend senior prom. In that spirit, we created Dreams Delivered.
On April 14-17, 2019, with our partner, The Ivy Pearl Foundation, Inc., the philanthropic arm of the Delta Chi Omega chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., our historic clubhouse will be transformed into a very special prom boutique. New and nearly new
formal dresses, shoes, jewelry, and accessories are provided free of charge to any Evanston Township High School student. Over the past 13 years, Dreams Delivered has outfitted more than 800 ETHS students.
Evanston Township High School Students who would like to sign up to attend should contact:
Mary Collins, ETHS Community Service Coordinator, (847) 424-7662 firstname.lastname@example.org
Nichole Boyd, ETHS Student Activities Director, (847) 424-7949 email@example.com
Every student must have an appointment to participate.
DONATE To Dreams Delivered:
Dresses should be “new or nearly new," preferably three (3) years old or less, or a classic, “timeless” design. Keep in mind the girls are looking for age-appropriate prom styles they see in the stores. We do not accept men's tuxedos or suits.
Donations for Dreams Delivered 2019 will be accepted from February 4
to March 22, 2019 at various locations throughout Evanston.
A finalized, complete list of drop-off locations will be posted here soon.
Donations are accepted year round at The Woman’s Club of Evanston, 1702 Chicago Avenue. Call (847) 475-3800 to arrange a time or stop by on weekdays only between 9:00 a.m and 4:00 p.m.
Thank you to Kenny the Kleener, Chicago’s Discount Dry Cleaner, which provides dry cleaning services. Kenny has dry cleaned hundreds of dresses for Dreams Delivered, free of charge. He is our Fairy Godfather and we could not do it without him.
