How to Join

Membership in The Woman’s Club of Evanston is open to any person who identifies as a woman and is interested in community service, philanthropy and friendship. You do not need to live in Evanston to be a member!

Membership responsibilities are as follows:

Pay annual dues of $200.   Our Club year runs from June 1 to May 31.  Annual dues help cover the cost of maintaining our historic building, paying our staff, and supporting some of our membership programs. Events and programs in which you choose to participate throughout the year may charge a fee or have other costs, though some are free to members.

Serve on a Committee.  Our Club runs on the power of its committees and the work they do. When you serve on a committee, we hope you’ll find an outlet for your interests, talents, and skills.  Committees typically meet once a month and may have associated events, subcommittees or programs. Click here for Committee Descriptions.

Support two (2) Community Outreach projects during the year. You may choose to donate your time to manage one of our many community outreach projects, or donate money or material goods. There are many ways to support our community service projects.

Support our major philanthropic projects. Our largest fundraising events are the WCE Revue in March and the Spring Benefit Dinner Dance in May. There are a variety of ways to support such as attending the events or helping to plan and staff the events.

Attend social functions. This is the fun part and the most important because it is the good times we share and the friendships we make that make our Club so special.

Join Us for a Prospective Member Information Night!
Informal Prospective Member Information Nights are held throughout the year. At these events, you’ll meet current members and learn about our many activities. Prospective members are encouraged to attend several programs and participate in various projects to see if the Woman’s Club of Evanston is right for them. All women are welcome to join at any time

Upcoming Prospective Member Information Nights:
