The Woman's Club of Evanston is a group of over 400 women from the North Shore, Chicago and the surrounding communities dedicated to community service, philanthropic
work and friendship. Each year the Woman's Club raises money for the community and provides educational programs and entertainment for the members. Last year, the
Club contributed over $120,000 and more than five thousand volunteer hours to social service agencies, many of which are devoted to women and children. The Woman's
Club welcomes all women as members and is proud of its diversity.
Getting Started - How to Join --
At informal "Prospective Members Evenings," held quarterly throughout the year, usually in the evenings
at 7pm.
Attendees meet current and prospective members and learn about the many activities
of the Club. After sampling several Club programs and projects to see if the Club is for them, women are welcomed into membership. Annual dues of $150
help support member programs and maintain our beautiful clubhouse (view photos), which is the site of many Club events.
Send us your name, address, phone number and email address and we'll put you on the mailing list for the next Prospective Members Evening. You can e-mail
Kate Mahoney, Assistant Membership chair at kmahoney@peerservices.org, call the Woman's Club at (847) 475-3800 , or stop by the Clubhouse at 1702 Chicago Avenue in Evanston.
