Without funding from the Woman's Club, we literally would have turned away women and children who desperately needed our services. - Christie Dailey, Executive Director of the YWCA's Shelter for Battered Women and Their Children

FUNDING INFORMATION

We support local projects because that's why the Woman's Club of Evanston was founded. In 1889, a small group of bright, active women came together to pursue their interests in cultural, philanthropic and civil activities and to improve their communities.

Capital Campaign
The club's one-million dollar Capital Campaign began in 2005 and continues through 2010. Monies raised will fund the projects outlined in a commissioned 2003 Structural Survey including capital improvements, repairs, restoration and preservation of our historic clubhouse located at 1702 Chicago Avenue.
