The Woman's Club of Evanston performs its Annual Benefit Show every year in mid-March at its beautiful Clubhouse. Since 1951, the Benefit Show has been written, choreographed, directed and performed by WCE members along with their spouses and friends.

The show features parodies of well-known songs dealing with topical issues and personalities. The Benefit Show raises approximately $15,000-$20,000 for an organization determined by the Contributions Committee that serves Evanston and nearby areas.

The bene- FISH- iary of the 2009 show is the YWCA's "Flying Fish" program dedicated to teaching all Evanston children to swim, thereby preventing drownings.
