Annual Benefit Show 2012

The Woman's Club of Evanston performs its Annual Benefit Show every year in mid-March at its beautiful Clubhouse. Since 1951, the Benefit Show has been written, choreographed, directed and performed by WCE members along with their spouses and friends.

The show features parodies of well-known songs dealing with topical issues and personalities. The Benefit Show raises approximately $30,000 for an organization determined by the Contributions Committee.

Celebrating its 61st year, The Woman's Club of Evanston's Annual Benefit Show opens March 8, 2012

and runs for 6 performances.

Opening Night Gala

For the first time this year we have a special evening planned for opening night, March 8th.  The house will

open at 6:15 PM for our Opening Night Gala featuring drinks, hors d’oeuvres and the vocal styling of our own Jennifer French and Molly Conrad.   Tickets for the gala are just $15 in addition to your show ticket.  We hope you’ll join us for this special event.

The proceeds of this year's show will help fund Youth Job Center of Evanston youth, ages 14-25, for success in the workplace.  The YJC has been assisting Evanston youth for nearly 30 years but our mission is more critical now than ever.  With unemployment still hovering near 10% in the Chicago area and over 25% for youth, the Youth Job Center works to ensure that young people have the skills necessary to compete in the 21st century workforce.  When you support the Youth Job Center, you help level the playing field so all youth have the opportunity to succeed.

We are looking for Show Sponsors for each night of the show.
